Andrew L. Thompson, a native of the Houston area, is an accomplished artist whose fine arts career has evolved over thirty years.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and received a Graphic Communication Certificate from the Art Institute of Houston. Art critics claim his vivid exuberant use of color and contemporary design as his strongest artistic attributes.

Andrew's art images range from realistic to abstract expressionism depicting subject matter as musicians, dancers, women, still life subjects, and landscapes. Thompson’s art is open to various forms of cultural expression; however, he feels it is important to emphasize his culture as a sense of pride in his heritage.
